You’re going to want to get your tickets early this year!
Welcome to the 2026 Season! After more than a decade of building EverHaunt into the award-winning, one-of-a-kind Halloween wonderland we always dreamed it could be, we are going to take a break from the large-scale haunted attraction after this season to refocus, reimagine, and rebuild.
Everhaunt isn’t going away. We will be working toward creating a more year-round experience, continuing our charitable work, and building something that is more than just another haunted house.
Come experience the event you’ve known and loved one more time this fall, and just remember that when one chapter closes, another exciting chapter begins.
AS ALWAYS, THE MONSTER WILL RISE AGAIN.
Q&A Link:
“OH MY GOD IS EVERHAUNT CLOSING?” – No, we are evolving.
“WELL, HOW LONG WILL YOU BE CLOSED FOR?” – We aren’t closing, we are evolving. What this means is, we want to be able to give more experiences year round, and in order to do that, we need to change a bit of what we have. There is only so much space within our building, so given those constraints, we’re making some positive changes. There is no timetable on this. If you can remember, we waited 7 years to open our haunt originally because we wanted to do it right. Next year we will do a smaller event while we continue working on what comes next.
“OH MY GOSH, IS THIS THE LAST YEAR TO SEE EVERHAUNT?” – As you know it, yes. We aren’t sure what the entire future holds, but we have a good idea. It will be different, but exciting. We do recommend getting tickets early as we sold out every day the last 2 years, and with us taking some time off from the large-scale haunt after this season, we feel the demand will likely increase.
“OH NO, WILL I NEVER SEE MY FAVORITE CHARACTER AGAIN?” – We never say never, but as always throughout EverHaunt’s history, as one chapter closes, another opens. Throughout our history, characters have come and gone, with only a few being consistent in the story. The important ones – Hatchet Nana, Nurse Needles, The Everfawn, The Pigman amongst others are already being incorporated into our next chapter, and some of the older ones are likely to weave back into the story. Side note – this year we are debuting 5 new characters!
“WHY ARE YOU TELLING US THIS BAD NEWS NOW?” – This is actually exciting news, and we wanted you to be able to experience EverHaunt as you know it one more time. Experience our large-scale haunts, our hospital, our house, and everything else. Buffalo is full of haunted attractions, literally 8. When we started there was 3. There is no shortage of haunted attractions, so you’ll be able to get your share of scares next year and beyond as we rebuild! In the meantime, we will work to create something different from just a bigger haunted house. If you’ve watched any interview with us over the last decade, every single one we’ve always said, “We never wanted to be just another haunted house.”
“SO WHAT EXACTLY IS COMING NEXT?” – We aren’t ready to share everything yet. We have some plans that we’ve already been working on, some of which are nearing completion, and plenty of ideas still being developed. What we can tell you is that our goal is to create more year-round experiences, while still keeping the monsters, characters, stories and everything people love about EverHaunt alive. When we’re ready, you’ll be the first to know.
“WILL THERE BE ANYTHING NEW IN 2026?” – Yes, as always, we’ve been working since November of last year. We’ve created a brand new experience within the Delaware Creek Estates called The Ignite. We have 5 new characters debuting this season. We are already known for our close to 40 giant monster animations, we are adding SEVEN new ones this year. Our Pumpkin Spectactular is expanding this year adding 2 new experiences outside as well…
“WILL THERE BE ANYTHING IN 2027?” – Yes. We will likely plan to do something smaller in 2027. It just won’t be the large-scale EverHaunt Haunted Attraction that you’ve experienced over the last decade. We don’t want to put a timetable on the larger reimagining because we want to take the time to do it right, but our special events – kid’s days, horror icon days, days of hope will be included in some way in 2027.
“WHAT ABOUT DAYS OF HOPE AND ALL OF THE CHARITY WORK?” – That isn’t going anywhere. Our community outreach is the reason we do what we do and the reason we started this. It has always been more important than the attractions themselves, and we will continue our year-round charitable efforts. That part of Ever Haunt will never take a break.
“SO THIS REALLY ISN’T GOODBYE?” – Nope. Not even close, lol. We own our building. We own all of our props and attractions. It’s the end of one version of EverHaunt and the beginning of another. We love our monsters, and they’ll rise again.

[…] 💀 Please note: • Tickets are extremely limited this year; every slot will sell out. • We’ve made this change because for us, it’s never been about putting through the most people or being the biggest haunted attraction; it’s about being the kindest, giving the best possible experience, and making a real impact in our community. • Walk-up availability will be very unlikely with reduced capacity and this being our final season before our break. • There will be WNY Horror Con Icon Celebrities EVERY NIGHT we’re open this season. • We’re also adding new attractions and have updated existing; keep an eye on this page over the next few weeks for those announcements! • Since 2019, we’ve said in almost every interview that we never wanted to be just a haunted house, and this year, we’re expanding even further in that direction. We’re adding classic horror movie showings in partnership with the Angola Theatre, celebrity signings at the Delaware Creek Horror Boo-tique, continuing our popular WNY Fall Festival & Kids Days, and even this year in coordination with WNY Horror Con we will be doing a horror yoga event with a celebrity! • As announced a few days ago… this is our last season before a break for our large scale haunts. If you love our haunt, this is your last chance to see it in this form. Here is more info: https://everhaunt.com/bigchangesafter2026/ […]
